Life-Air-The World

Life-Air-The World

A Poem by Pi Cee

The world-

Born again. The breath taken in

with the infants new sight.

Cold.

Dying- no borne

so cold, "Momma?"

They cry, loud and hard

cruel, cruel world.

"Ring around the rosey, a pocket full of

                  posey,

Ashes, Ashes,

                    we all fall down..."

Poison, death, grave ash.

"Red rover red rover, send Sally right over!"

Into the fist of your ever after bruise.

Sex drugs, alcohol. From princesses

to Everclear.

Jack, Morgan, Jose,

"Looks like the gang's

all here"

Start the party, Turn out the lights

strike the match, I said TURN OUT THE LIGHTS!

The world-

The reath taken in from a lovers last shock

a blacking out clown with all hope come to loss.

Cold.

On fire. They cry as they leave the

cruel, cruel world.

Well, I know exactly what the word pare means, but I don't think it's worth getting hung up on. The poem itself left my head spinning. I enjoyed it immensley, and have already come up with about half a dozen interpretations. Really well delivered. Superd

Great use of old nursery rhyme. I like the flow and the purpose of this poem. We can swim in s**t and cry the world is a bad place. I believe we decide the good or bad road. It our choice. A outstanding poem.
