Behind That Wall

Behind That Wall

A Poem by Pi Cee

By your side, a little to the back, down the hall

Just behind that wall.

Watching you,

Loving you,

Standing with my mouth a little open in awe,

Just outside of your inner bright light,

Giving you strength,

from thirteen yards away.

This poem reminds me how you don't need to be with someone to be giving them the strength and support they need. Very simple but it works nicely. Nice work!

A really good poem, for reasons I can`t explain I love it.Maybe the enigmatic imagery, or the lyrical simplicity.Good literature.
