The Thing About Love is...

The Thing About Love is...

A Poem by Pi Cee

You can't hold it like a flower

But it sprouts, it buds, it blossoms,
It matures.

Then within very short, lazy time,
it fades, darkens in a dull boring way,
and soon enough

It dies.

Making the confusion completely justifiable as-

it, this 'love', brings great beauty, great tragedy,
and releases its last breath with an undying
'I told you so'

Flowers can't speak

I really like the last line of this poem-- You are very talented and have an interesting voice in your work
One thing you might improve on is your use of cliches, though.
A flower budding is a beaten concept.
Open your guts and find something better; i know you can do it.

Perhaps I did better with the revision then?
Can I opt for option B, where it says with the addition of green fairy dust upon the petals at first sunlight, will keep it from dieing? :) I agree with your vision and analogy of this piece...but I think while life may end at some point... Love needn't die so quickly. That's just me though...:)

Flowers do talk... if one has patience and the mind to listen the pollen in the breeze. It's song that can make any soul surf the stars and find tranquility.

Great Ink!
