Waving From Shore

Waving From Shore

A Poem by Pi Cee

Washed ashore on an angry,
careful, wave
to an island so gray
'tis almost faded away

But not til I leave
I was meant to be
to uncover her secrets
retell her long lost tales

Until I'm done we both just wait
survivor and provider

'Til last breath breathed
and final word written
