Dreaming

Dreaming

A Poem by Pi Cee

Dream.
A wish.
A want.
Something that in most cases we know we’re not going to get
but that just makes the yearning more intense.
We may not always chase after them the best way we could
but that never stops more dreams from being dreamt.
We try hard for some dreams and then not so much for others,
because we like the anticipation of lying down at night and having something to want,
wish for, to occupy our minds.
Because in most cases we’re convinced that those are completely our of our league
and would take a whole lot more effort to chase than we have to spare.
We love wanting and feeling and needing.
We love dream.
