Simple, Complicated, Confusion.

Simple, Complicated, Confusion.

A Poem by Pi Cee

You wait, and you listen
Sitting helplessly alone.
Trying to find a cause
Caught up in all the emotion
You wonder.
The sights,
The people,
Confusing.
Senses being mismatched
misplaced.
Everything overall,
confusing anymore.
Just waiting and listening
with so many ideas swirling.
All the ideas and sounds and scents,
Mixing together becoming a tangled,
Weaving, incomprehensible web.
Thus born in confusion
and you at the center.

Pi Cee,

Okay, here we do have a tangled web of confusion, you are absolutely correct. There is truth lying within the entanglement of your confusion, this poem speaks truth. Most of us, knowing this desire named change.

We want something different, for our lives, our friends, our world, yet with all of the ideas we have running amuck in ourselves, we have no path - the direction is blurred.

I must say, I nearly missed this poem - several times, by passing it up on the new writes list. I would hap-hazardly click open then exit by mistake. I am certainly glad I was persistent.

This poem – a wonderful representation (of) human response from this feeling that dwells within for change.

Guaranteed you have created a meaningful piece here that we can all relate to.

Thank you for sharing,

i read this poem three times and it revealed another one of its secrets with each read. simple yet complicated. i think the power of the piece is in its structure. i felt the overwhelmingness of the moment as i read. the idea that resonated with me most is the isolation of an individual personality in a very complexed world filled with unlimited sights sounds feelings smells And thoughts. well rendered.

beautifully expressed
happens to me all the time
it takes a while to get sorted,
the worthwhile ideas stay,
the rest leave
