Waiting for the Better of Life

Waiting for the Better of Life

A Poem by Pi Cee

Darkness, sorrow, feeling alone
Waiting
Sadness, feeling doomed,
Waiting
Trounced by everything
and everyone,
You Wait
For an answer
To pierce your inescapable unease
You wait
For hope,
Truth,
Justice
Burning in sorrow
It arrives..

Author's Note

Pi Cee
I share this with a good friend of mine, written years ago it's actually hers but when I polished her spelling she told me to publish it here after I found it. It's not much, and I know that, but to me it expresses perfectly the escape, however unperfect escape is.
