The silence of slipping

The silence of slipping

A Poem by Pi Cee

Did you feel it, could you
When you lost me
And my foggy trail at last
Slipped from your weathered hands

Did you feel it?
Was it an ache, a sharp pain
Or merely a smile you wore
With nearly forgotten memories

Do you still?
My place in your heart was so warm
Does it feel anything less now?
Do you still remember
The smiles
The laughs
The long soul probing talks

Tell me love, does it feel to have me gone?
