How is it?
This kiss,
stained with cigarettes and misplaced smiles
the cold freezing our hands
as chapped lips and hot breath
cause my glasses to fog

This little note speaks to me of desire. It happens when it happens and the place, logic, reasoning, or lack there of and time are never the same twice. When it happens... and desire takes grip of the motions of mankind. We are left with a choice. Do or not to do. I think the how is defined by that choice. It's what guides the kiss to be heated breath.
The choice is like anything else... governed by many little things that are all swirling around in a persons noggin, past, present and future. No one but the individual can say why a choice is made one way or the other.
