So Soon?

Do you ever have those days
where you think you've reached the top?
That the mountain has sunk down
and it's the peak that you have seen?

Only for it to plunge back up
and a new step to begin?
For this journey, this time around
hasn't the new sight, that should've been set free.

I read this one about 5 or 6 times, pausing between each read. Very ardent second stanza, it made me stop and think.

This kinda says to me that certain types of repetitive cycles need no be repeated. Like using an old mold, for a new object. I find it's far better to completely start fresh with out any strings to the past. =)
