Promises

Promises

A Poem by Pi Cee
"

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can forever hurt me.

"
The powers of words
are so little
yet so wide.

Too easy to break,
but forever having been said.

You make your promises,
with either best intentions
or for the hope of hope.

You hold true,
either out of love
or dedication.

The powers of words
are so little
yet so...lasting.

so true Pi-Cee , some tend to take their promises seriously, as it should be, I guess until the recipient starts slapping at them, then what can you do? I loved that line best "The power of words are so little, yet so ...lasting" so true when said with conviction and a whole lot of heart.
