Our Meeting Place

Our Meeting Place

A Poem by Pi Cee

Do you search for me in the crowds?
Looking for my eyes, my wings.
Do you call out to the backs of strangers heads?
Searching for your name in return.

On certain clear nights do you stand out alone?
Gazing up at the stars wanting your dreams to reach mine
over dream bridges, on the whispers of stars or the wind.
On bright days, do you look up to the sky?
Wondering of thoughts I might be having in response to yours?

You might one day,
though you do already,
and meet my shining shadow.
