You Stop

You Stop

A Poem by Pi Cee

You stop to take a look around
pause for a breath you find in my air.
You take your time to look around
showering me in pretty words and made up dreams.

You stop to take little pieces of me
pause for time, to gather them up bit by bit.
You take your time to cry fake tears
showering me in hopes and pretty words of made up dreams.

Sounds like a parent talking to their child trying to put them at ease after life has let them down. I found this sentimentally sweet.
