What Does 'Truth' Even Mean Anymore?

What Does 'Truth' Even Mean Anymore?

A Poem by Pi Cee

I don't claim to be the angel,
I don't claim to be pure.
I don't claim to be unique little snowflake
the sun that shines may make me seem.
I'm metal, not water, I don't melt to your hands, I melt in your words.
I don't claim to have all the answers
I don't claim the glory
I don't want the hype.

I don't claim to be noticed
but I don't claim to be invisible.
I don't claim to be made of light,
I don't claim the shadows that follow.
I'm a crease in a paper,
man-made, imperfect, used to hiding.

I can't claim to be anything more than what my heart and mind know me to be.
I can't claim you
I don't claim us
I fall into the patterns
and lose myself to the current-
floating, not really anywhere.

Love this poem, being so felt by me in current state. And what is right anyway? Is it still truth is it still right if it hurts others? Good philosophical write Pi Cee, thanks :)
