I've Been...

I've Been...

A Poem by Pi Cee

Called one of the flakes made of snow.
Destined to melt to Someone's fiery heat.

A light to a tunnel you didn't recall having an end.
But I was only the ending, to the beginning you didn't want.

Perched on walls, hiding holes and shining color.

The 'One' that he didn't want to stay.

A new beginning, destined to find an end after the introduction,
like the name of the captain of ship you jump off of.

So many things,
but only in passing.
Helping on the way, but not being a destination.
Just a mile marker on roads, full of different numbers.

~ stunning poetry...
~ for me... milestones have a very special significance...
~ i cherish them... stay with them... belong to them...
~ and... feel happy when they belong to me...
~ i don't really understand those who don't cherish them...
~ but what do i know...
~ maybe they have their reasons... maybe they can't cope...
~ maybe they first need to be milestones themselves...
~ who knows... the future can never be predicted...

Very good, I think we have all been markers on someone else's road...Sometimes even direction posts, pointing the way, only for them to turn a different corner
