A Poem by Pi Cee
"

She was my best friend, still is. We loved each other like sisters.

"
Strong headed and stubborn
she's just so...there
It's impossible not to notice her.

She loves and she cries.
She has her moments, but
all she wants is a true friend.

He past is one of the darkest
cults, cuts, drugs-
God, please watch over her.

I hate that I had to leave,
I think she may have needed me.
I know I needed her.

I've spent nights and days missing her,
over three months with her smile or tears everyday,
and then all of a sudden...
Nothing.

A sister, a best friend,
an answered prayer.

I like the sense of loss in this piece. I'm sure we've all lost very close friends at some point or other. It seems almost inevitable. We grow older, change, become different and eventually spread apart. It takes truly special people to remain in contact and still care for one another.

I like the third part: "Her past is one of the darkest" is an amazing beginning and it speaks volumes about her. Also, the closing is great, too. I love the way you speak highly of her. An unanswered prayer..... very high praise, indeed!

Very nicely done, Pi!
