If It Weren't for My Prince

If It Weren't for My Prince

A Poem by Pi Cee

I wouldn't have met this place.

If it weren't for my faithful reader and dearest friend
I wouldn't have written so much, or gotten any better.

If it weren't for the one wolf at my door
whose presence keeps smiling the brightest when most of my heart wants to cry
I would've left long ago.

If it weren't for the people who don't care
the people who push me too hard
the one person who judged me too quick and was the first one to block me
the certain people who I got too close to too quick and left me behind in their dust
the other certain people who jerked my feelings around too hard and too fast
I wouldn't have wanted to leave.

If it weren't for my Prince,
I never would have gotten my feelings back.

... you're very beautiful... never doubt that... this is a beautiful piece of writing... poignant and inspiring... poetic and expressive... real and surreal...

... i used to be an aspiring angel... until i was judged... on this site... and in life... i screamed in anguish... i tried to demand justice... the universe didn't relent... then, i turned into .tomato brain. thanks to a very precious friend... i am not an aspiring angel any more... i'm human... with my flaws... if i sense that a person has an unpleasant persona and is unleashing bitterness in such large doses that i can't handle it... i do block them... or, at least release them from my friend list... there's no room in my life for cynicism... i'm not going to take blows without doing all that i can to protect my nine-year old little girl heart... not on this site... and not in real life...

This was a one of kind work of ink. =)
Sometimes life is like a whole bunch of threads running parallel to the other. As we try to walk upon it's surface, the threads fluctuate and spread, causing us to loose our balance or even fall through. Yet, when you find someone that is tuned to your vibration, two threads can weave together and flow along with a sense of connection and strength. It allows us to no longer fear that we might slip through the cracks. Hugs! =)
