Leon vs Sam

Oh, dear... Now I am really glowing. But why? I looked at my hand and arms. Are the others noticing it too? I tried to ignore what is happening to me. I looked straight at Leon who is laughing and taunting me. Psh. Easy Peasy. I thought to myself. I have to make sure he won't die, though. That would be very hard. "Samantha, you can still backout, you know?" he taunted. "But you know the rules. Don't worry, I'll just set you into a coma." He laughed. His zombie friends laughed as well. I was flexing my head from side to side. Stretching my arms. Coma? Huh. Must be better than getting killed. Yeah, I'll do that to him. "Take it easy, girl." Michel said in his French accent. "Remember, don't kill." I glanced at him and gave him a thumb-up. "Play with him a little. Let's make it until 5 minutes." Gary yelled. I gave another thumb up then the bell sounded. He attacked first. Trying to stagger me but I just jumped out of the way. He paused and turned around to hit me with his fist. He was able to hit me but nothing happened to me. I just created a large hole on the platform. Holding his fist, I heaved and threw him upwards letting him fall on his back on the platform. The sensation grew stronger yet. I looked around but before I was able to check the premium seats, he grabbed me by my legs and was about to bite me. I kicked his hand and head. He flew out of the platform. He landed on his feet though. He jumped and decided to drill me on the ground with his fist. He looked like he succeeded. But what the watchers don't know I was just there sitting. He did a little victory dance. Encouraging the crowd to chant for him. Amidst the clouds of dust, I emerged and hurled towards him. He saw me and blocked me with his arms. Remembering that I have to make it last for 5 minutes, I just swung with him. He hopped and hit me. Desperately trying to grab me and take a bite. For the next 4 minutes, we were just exchanging punches. I already looked disheveled. Obviously, he's getting a irritated. Michel yelled, "Finish it!" So I did. I ran towards him (seemed to the watchers I just appeared out of thin air) I gave him a combo of a roundhouse, a drop, and a finisher kick. Then I kicked him again in the middle letting him fly off the platform and drop on to the dust, falling into a coma. Brutal? Not really. I've done much more brutal than that. I even had to rip off some walker's head (just an exhibition game) While the ringmaster and some medics and Leon's companions checked on him, I fixed my hair and stood in the middle of the platform. I looked at my hands and arms and saw that I was still glowing. The group hurdling on Leon dispersed and Carl's voice announced. "Leon was totally knocked out and in coma. Samantha Wilkins wins!" People cheered and started chanting my name. I just waved at everyone and looked around. Then I saw him. He's standing and glowing as well. I stared back at him and everything seemed gone except the two of us. Time slowed. Our glow felt as if we are getting closer to each other. The sensation grew way too stronger. Overwhelmed with what I am feeling, I forced myself to break the eye contact and immediately went towards Michel, Gary, and now Carl who just arrived after MCing the game. Michel and Gary were both cheering as they sandwiched me giving me a hug. Carl tapped my shoulder and hugged me. "Good game, Sam." He smiled but frowned when he let me go "Why the f**k are you glowing?" Michel and Gary stood closer too. Curious faces hovered me. "I don't know either. It just happened when I entered the game hall." I replied. I offered my arms to Michel and Gary who immediately removed the bandages. "It just started before the game." "Nevermind. At least you made it last. No violations from you." He smiled. "So you want your cash?" I raised my eyebrow at him. "No, those are for you three. You know me." I explained. "Gallagher never wanted me to go into gambling. Especially this. Risking exposure." "Does he even know you're playing?" Gary asked. We started walking out of the hall. "All he knows is that I am still doing a little combat training." The boys snickered. We continued on. They left me as I entered the locker room. I am still glowing. But not as bright as earlier. In the shower, I was still thinking about that eye contact. He's far from me but he felt near me. I checked myself again and saw that the glow is now gone. I finished fixing myself and went out of the locker room. Seeing the three guys waiting for me in Carl's car. I went in as we travelled the road going to Gallagher's place.
