Friends Lost

This poem depicts the feeling I had when I was still sick and my friend had finally gotten out of quarantine.

Another one gone again
This time my friend
All seems quite dead
There's nothing on the bed
My god I feel so sad
Because I'm sad, I feel bad
Now the doctor awaits
To open those gates
And let me be free
Free so I can be
With my friend
Yet again
