The Love that Won't Let

I wrote this when I had serious feelings for a friend of mine, but I wasn't sure about his feelings for me.

He's the love that won't allow me to come in
Who knows when our love will finally begin
I've waited long enough for this love to start
Now what he needs to do is open his heart
Just a few more pushes and a few more pulls
Then we'll both stop acting like fools
Knowing that there's a reason we're both here
Never calling either one to their friends dear
We know that it's there but we won't let it show
It's just the love that won't let us know
