Frodo BagginsA Poem by Rilind DragoshiThis is a song about the hero Frodo, derived from the first book of the series. It is written in the way the elves of Lothlorien would have sung it.The Fellowship Of The Ring Frodo Baggins Frodo Baggins was a hobbit. Living in the Shire with a peaceful and calm life was his habit. He was the nephew of Bilbo. Who slew a dragon named Smaug a long time ago. Frodo had lived in Bag-End. The house given to him by Bilbo his uncle and friend. He gave Frodo the land when he felt well. Then decided to live in Rivendell. Bilbo gave him his house and many a thing. One of those things was a ring. It could make the one who slipped it on invisible. But Frodo found that the ring was evil. Then the wizard Gandalf to Frodo said. "That ring should not make another invisible head." That ring was made by the dark lord Sauron. And it should be a ring to be gone." Gandalf bid Frodo use the ring no more. Then bid him take it to Mordor. To destroy it in Mount Doom. Thus ending Sauron's evil gloom. Thus destroying all that was evil. Thus achieving his long-term goal. Frodo said that he agreed. During that time there was a friend. He had been listening in to Gandalf's story. So Gandalf told him to come to glory. To accompany Frodo. To destroy the ring to go. Frodo went with his servant Sam along with two others Merry and Pippin. When elf Legolas, men like Aragorn and Boromir, and the dwarf Gimli and Gandalf joined in. Frodo was hopeful they would win. Win against Sauron's forces the enemy. By destroying the ring you see. On the journey they went through forest water and hill. Met the master of wood, land, and water Tom Bombadil. Went to Rivendell and saw Elrond. Then there they did feast and make merry as they were fond. They also went to Lothlorien which was the land of the elves of old. There they saw Galadriel, a lady more beautiful than gold. They also battled orcs and balrog. Many other evil shadow. No matter how grim things looked, Frodo knew his destiny. To destroy the ring and thus evil and to bring all of earth's light races to liberty. Despite what others in his group did and away from Frodo's quest` swing. Frodo continued on his journey to Mordor to destroy the evil ring. © 2013 Rilind DragoshiAuthor's Note
