The Healer's Guardian Chapter 4

NIcki pouted and he kissed her. I was looking outside the window when I saw them. I ran downstairs faster than lightening. I could feel everyone watching from the window. All three of us countedx to three and ran to each other. I picked her up and spun her around.

"Amari", I whispered holding her close. I let go grabbing on to Aray. "How did you find me?" I looked behind them to see a girl talking on the phone. She must've been smiling at my discomfort because I shifted a little. "We just followed heavenly." They pointed to the girl.

"She ain't so heavenly", whispered Aray. I nodded. "Go back home". "No can do love. Wer'e supposedly going on a road trip with Aray's boyfriend Jake. Turns out his a*s is here". I stared at both of them. "It's not safe here." Aray stepped up. "Wherever Jake is its safe. We are all safe.".

We all except for Heavenly went into my room. Aray gave me another hug. "You two share a room. I'm go find my boyfriend." She left with a smile. I sat on the bed next to Amari. "What's the matter?" She asked. "Why am I a part of this nonsense?" She hesitated. "There is a story behind it. Jake tells Aray all the time."

I took off my shirt and got under the blanket. Amari got under too. She grabbed my arm and wrapped it around her waist. Breannas face flashed. I wished she was the one I held close to my heart on this stormy night. "I'm ready," I told her.

Amari spoke:

It is said that even man who is pure of heart and says his prayers by night, will turn into THE HYBRID when the wolfbane blooms and the Autumn moon is bright, he shall become the king of night, everyone must stay out of sight.

Only one person will try to stop his fate. And he who has the pure heart, shall suffer a love gain, a love loss, grief, sorrow, and war. "Fate is a prior state of existence". I laughed. "Yeah you're right but this is true."

I shifted as she laid on my chest. My door was cracked and Breanna was about to knock. I pretended like I didn't see her. I looked down at Amari. She pulled me by my neck and kissed me.

It was a slow kiss, deep, and passionate. A kiss meant for two people who loved each other and I did not love Amari the way that she loved me. We all want something we can't have and I deeply wanted the girl hidden in the shadows. I would die for her. Kill for her. I Want Her.

Breanna's P.O.V.

I watched them kiss. I felt like I got kicked in the stomach. I ran to my room and laid down. I really want him. I would die for him. Kill for him. I Want Him, but I can't have him.

Dehsarc came home. He laid next to me. The night went by so slow and I didn't sleep. I had to talk to him now.

I quietly got out of the bed and into his room, but he was not there. The front door was cracked open. I stepped out the wind sped up almost tripping me. The rain was overwhelming. I bit my lip at the sight of his bare chest.

He turned to me. "Why are you out here?" I asked. He looked up. "I used to think the rain would make the pain go away. That may be my life wouldn't be so difficult. My entire life was a lie." He said. Exactly how I feel, but I didn't say that.

"You wanna know a weird secret?" He smiled a nodded. "I've always wanted a kiss in the rain. I don't know why." He stopped me from talking by moving close to me. He put his arm around my waist. I was ready to give my heart, body, and soul to him.

"Tell me how it feels." I nodded. Our faces slowly came together. I put my arms around his neck, but we didn't kiss. He kept kissing my neck. I wanted more. "You came here for a reason. What was it?"

I hesitated. He lifted my chin. "I don't know what it is Dimitri Rodriguez and I don't know what these feelings are, but I do know one thing it means something to my heart," he smiled. "In other words you love me."

I nodded. "More than I bargained for." "But?" He asked, "Nope no buts". He just stood there. The trees stood still as our silence did to. I turned around and back. He was on the floor. My heart shrank. A girl stood behind him looking down. "I thought he'd be up." I stared at her in shock. "What did you do?" She shrugged. I knelt down beside him not caring if the girl was watching. "He's a little weak for a werewolf half-breed hybrid.

"Who are you?" I look up cradling his head on my lap. "Why, I'm his sister. Twin sister." I stared at the same greenish almondy eyes Dimitri wore. "Why have you come?" She didn't answer as Dimitri started to awake she went down to us.

Dimitiri's P.O.V

My head was spinning and I couldn't see straight. I smiled up at Breanna as a girl stood beside her. I sat up looking at her. "You..." She cut me off. "Yeah, yeah! I look exactly like you, that's because were related I'll explain later we have to go."

"Go? No, not without the others." Breanna said. "What's your name?" I interrupted. She smiled. My name is Demaya, just call me Maya and who said anything about you going?" Breanna looked at me. "She goes wherever I go." She nodded let's go.

We followed her and I kept on alert. She spoke to me as Breanna stayed behind. My head still spined. No one spoke a noise broke through and we were attacked. An unknown force hit me in the back hard I saw Breanna hit the tree and Maya fell into a huge bush.

All I could think about was, that I didn't want to die I started to get up, but then a bag covered my head. it was dark and I struggled to get out. The man and woman and a couple of others from what I heard spoke in a different language. We drove in the car for what seemed like days.

The only thing I could hope for was the girls' protection. I also wondered if they were at least getting along. I stopped my thoughts and went to sleep for the remainder of the time.

Demaya's P.O.V

I got out of the bush and helped Breanna out of the tree. Great. They took him. I looked around calling his name. Breanna stopped me. "Calling his name ain't going to bring him back. Besides this is your fault, if we stayed at the house we wouldn't be in this s**t!"

I smiled. "Then go back. I'll find him on my own." You knew. You knew this was going to happen. They stopped at the house didn't they?!" I nodded. "And to answer your next question, Yes some might be dead."

"Unbelievable," she screamed. We didn't speak to each other for a while.

When we picked up on a smell we followed it. "It's definitely Dimitiri." Breanna nodded. "So tell me. How come Dimitri doesn't know you?"
I told her everything. "WOW! " She exclaimed.

"They just took you!" I nodded. "It's not a big deal, but I must keep him away from Dehsarc. Obviously I can't." I stopped walking. "Dehsarc has Dimitir?" I nodded. "Why?" "It's simple he's a half-breed hybrid. When that Autumn moon is full Dimitri will have all power over all of us."

"That's just a story." Breanna said. "Supposedly he who has a pure heart will save us from death and other disruption. Like you said Dimitiri is weak for a werewolf half-breed hybrid. "Ahhh you see he is weak now, but sooner or later he will rule us. He will rule the world and vampires and werewolves will get along.
And we will be a family.

"How do you know all of this?" Because we all know except for Dimitri that's why Dehsarc has Dimitri and God knows where they are at this point. He must've took him somewhere far.

We walked into a gas station. I cornered the guy and compelled him. "You're going to give me the keys of your motorcycle and forget you ever had one. Then you will give me all the money u have from the cash register and tell your boss you stole it." He nodded and a few minutes after repeating what I said he did everything.

Breanna stared at me. "Had to be done I was not about to continue walking." We got on the motorcycle and drove off. Dimitri's P.O.V (For the rest of the story)

I sat in a chair in a dark hole. I closed my eyes to adjust them from the dim light. Everything seemed quite, as if no one was here. I got up and walked over to a window and there were millions of them. My throat burned with so much lust for the desire of the intoxication of blood, while my stomach fought so hard to take that desire away because of the werewolf in me.

But the desire took over me as I smelled the air-filled with fresh blood from the human source. I started to act like an animal until someone came to the door.

It opened a girl with long brown hair stared at me with her devilish hazel eyes that seemed awfully desolate. She smiled at me not saying a word she walked up to me and touched my bare chest.

Her hands were cold as she caressed my hair. I took this opportunity as a time to escape. I stood there ready to go. She pulled my head down and whispered into my ear. "Miss me?" I shook my head in disbelief. "Iris? What is going on? She sat down.

"It's Dehsarc." I sat next to her in the other chair. "Where is he? Is he here? Is he in trouble?" She shook her head. "No, Dimitri you are the one in trouble." I didn't understand. "Dehsarc is in charge of this. He's going to kill you in front of hundreds of vampires and werewolves so that he can be the king of night."

I understood perfectly now. This was the plan all along to get me to trust him.
"There has to be a way to stop him."
"I don't think there is a way. I'll be right back."

My own brother? Why would he go through so much trouble to become the king of night? He can have it, if he just asked me. Simple. But, Dehsarc Rodriguez is not simple. No in fact he is my enemy and if being the king of night means so much to him, he is going to have to live with the fact that I'm not letting him take it. Over my dead body.

I stayed in the room fighting the urge to not hit something or scream or run to the delicious smell that I desire. But I left the room. It was a big, like some kind of castle or a kingdom. There were so many rooms that I got lost every time I made a turn. I even accidentally went into a bathroom.

I came to a stop when I heard Dehsarc.

Dehsarc spoke:
We must move quickly and kill him. He sighed as someone whispered to him. Yes eventually we will find my sister and she will pay for tracking Dimitri down. That is why we moved in quickly. I'm positive he is wandering about. He silenced me from his thoughts somehow blocked me, so I have no way of tracking him but if he is hiding we will find him and his death will be slow and painful. They all cheered, and clapped.

Stand up gentlemen. They all stood scooted there chairs back. "Bow to me as you're soon to be king and let us go find me sweet little brother.

I ran and as I ran I kept looking back and then. SMACK I ran into the hybrids. "Anthony. You guys how did you find me?" We tracked your scent. We knew you were in danger. "I have to find Breanna and Demaya."

I stared to walk but Aray and Jake grabbed my arms. "There safe." I nodded relieved. "How do you know?" "There almost here." I started to laugh. What the hell is here anyway? Ricardo stepped up holding Nicki's hand.
"This is you palace." I was close I thought. "Come on, we have to move they're looking for me." I walked over to Amari and Aray. "Oh just to let you know your so-called friend is Heavenly. Yeah she's a major b***h."

They laughed and we continued walking hallway after hallway and then it happened.
