The Healer's Guardian Chapter 3

Chapter 3

I ran upstairs so fast that it didn't even look possible. As I reached the top of the stairsGeneviève  looked at me confused with a pot in her right hand. "What happened?" She stood there shaking. I looked down at the ground at unknown person.

His body was sprawled out on the floor. She looked at me for answers. Dehsarc ran upstairs staring at both of us. "What's going on? I could hear your scream miles away". He said laughing. She hit him. "It's not funny."

I started to laugh to although I was still upset. We grabbed his body and tied him up. Genevieve threw boiling hot water on him. I looked at her and she smiled. "What?" She asked. I stared at her more. "Was that necessary?" She shrugged.

He awoke staring at all of us in shock. "Who sent you?" Genevieve slapped him with his claws. I looked at her and smiled. Feisty I thought, while her hand slapped him again. "None of your God damn business," he spit in my face.

Before I could jump on him Genevieve grabbed my arm to stop me. A banging sound hit the wall in the next room. "Watch him." I said.

I opened the room door as a girl with purple eyes stared at me. "Who are you?" She smiled. "We came for you Drake." I laughed. "WE? What the hell iks two people going to do to me. Your friend is already tied down, it won't be that hard for me to take you down."

She pointed towards the window. About eleven whatever they are, were coming toward the house. "What's going on?" I asked. "You're a hybrid. Your one of us pretty boy. I'm Nicki." Pretty boy? Did she just call me pretty boy?

"What do you want from me? I can't help you with your hybrid." Genevieve opened the door. "Hi', she said to Nicki. I stared at her confused. "You set this up?" She smiled."No we found out who they are."

We followed Genevieve into the room, all the hybrids stood to face me. I swallowed hard not sure to speak, or move. They all bowed to me. I didn't.

Breanna spoke:

Drake these are hybrids. Hybrids are vampires and werewolves mixed. I'm a hybrid also. Let me introduce you. Adran, Angel, Ricardo, Nicki, Anthony, Sergio, Jesus, Jose, Jake, Chris, and Isabelle. They all nodded as she said their names.

I stared at everyone. "So what's this got to do with me?" All of their faces were serious. "You're the second leader." Said Anthony. I looked at all there faces. One was missing. "Then who's the first?" I asked. "I am," a guy with spicky purple hair came into the room.

I stared at him. "I'm in charge of where everyone goes and what everyone does. Whatever I say goes. Got it". He said. Nicki stepped up. "But Ricardo." He put his hand over her lip. "NO! buts."
