The brute force of the Word.

The brute force of the Word.

A Poem by Phoenix
"

The brute force of the Word.

"

The brute force of the Word.

The brute Force of the WORD

Tells the wind mill to spin

it drags the wind's next of kin

buries its authority, and makes it a disciple

Brute without physicality

yet slams the most concentrated muscles on its feet

Pierces the skin more efficiently than a sharp pin

The hearts of men surrender as if an armed cop beckons

The dogs of humanity

become saints from heavens

while the birds of eternity

rise beyond the eagles, and beneath hell

they shine with the authority of the WORD they carry

grief and pain; joy, peace and solace they spread by only a glance

The Brute Force of the WORD

Energy, which the sun only depicts, is only a glimpse

controls the very core of existence

Gives freedom without utterance or battle

The force that relieves the shackle, and only CAN

The pen is stronger than the sword...this is truly a reality. Words can cause pain, cause emotion, incite love, etc. I love the power and the honesty in this one. Well written and a valid subject matter!

this is powerful and honest
qualities that a creative class can not teach

Sweet lines my fellow Canadian:

The dogs of humanity
become saints from heavens
while the birds of eternity

Well done indeed, you nearly sound like one of those spoken word types in this piece :)
