I remember giving in
I remember feeling empty I remember feeling like I would not exist had I not taken it I felt hollow, but this gave me some substance It gave me electricity and made me feel alive I remember feeling like I would not achieve such sensation without such aid & then I remember when I used to sweat my a*s off to make a dollar I remember being dehydrated and beyond tired and overheated I remember clinging to the skeletons of roofs while the sun utterly drained everything I had I remember craving just a sip of water or some vitamin-infused drink I remember the discomfort of not getting such sustenance when it feels so needed I also remember that moment of renewal I remember I can go a little further I remember I can second-wind I remember their is a breaking point I know I can go further I know I box myself in I know I am bigger than I admit myself to be I know am, even if I do not feel it most of the time
