Lost Souls

Lost Souls

A Poem by SilentPhoenix

Lost souls, I wonder where they are right now?

How did they get lost, I wonder how?

Did they slip through the cracks of life and get swallowed by the beasts of long suffering?

Did they get weary, did they give up as they were crawling on sinking sand, their blood and essence drawn out of them?

I think those lost souls are whispers in the night

Whispers of pleas and cries of fright

Mists of hope that they'll see the light

Lost souls gone forever, ripped apart, maimed and then stitched back together

Lost souls that wants to be forgiven

Lost souls whose secrets were hidden

Lost souls whose guilt trips they ridden

Lost souls whose chances to live are forbidden

Lost souls, I wonder where they are right now...
