Maybe

Maybe

A Poem by SilentPhoenix

The wears and tears of my cares are mixed with my despair

My hopes and dreams are there but so weak is the flare

Adding fuel to my fire, feeding my love and desire, quenching my passion in the most womanly fashion

Without thinking twice I roll the dice and pay the ultimate price, a sacrifice for love

Maybe you don't understand, I'm not crazy

I'm perfectly sane, my head is not hazy

I love you and care for you

One day, maybe...

I loved everything about this. I love rhymes, and this all just flowed together so nicely. Good work! I can't wait to read more of your pieces!
