Love is lyrical. Everything in love has its own cadence, its own rhythm, its own melody.

The sweet lullaby of his voice
reminiscent of each chord
played by cloud-dwelling angels
a beautiful harmony
recorded in the songbook
that is my soul
the gentle rhythm
that placates the fervent beating
of my heart
and plucks each string
in concordance with his own
a more perfect collaboration
whose lyrics rest
on the wings of seraphim
echoed by their sighs
as I float
on this melody that carries
the music of my heart
to his
the divine chorus
that is
love

Damn, that was deep. I don't have my speakers hooked up, so I did not hear that voice of yours like I wanted to. I loved the parallel of music and love. Your metaphors and imagery was very good. So was your flow from what I can tell. You did a very good job in my book.
