Continual Rebirth

They say healing is not

linear - that it ebbs and 

flows with it's purposeful

design

Instead of riding the waves, 

I am moving with the current

letting the undertow pull me under

for I know eventually, if I

surrender, I'll rise. 

This is Rebirth

Author's Note

I've been inactive on this site for quite some time now. Lately, I've been feeling inspired. It's strange to see the difference in my writing. I may not be as descriptive and imaginative, but it feels good to see that even simplicity makes writing worth it.

This is like words out of a novel I am reading at the moment. Brit Bennet's, The Mother's - took me straight back to the pages - that's a compliment for sure.

I see you are a fan of 'stating' on the last line what the reader can already gauge for themselves. You don't need to do that. Allow the reader to take their own direction - your words all point there anyway.
