Homesick

Homesick

A Poem by Phoen-ix

For all that lay out under the futile sun
with kaleidoscope eyes
I wish nothing more for you to reach out
and with fingertips left unscorched by the
flames
Cradle your transference
it has allowed you to glow
and burn just as brightly as everything
in your galaxy

Some of us cannot cradle ourselves
As our transference is far beyond our capacity
It has left us frantically searching to find our way back home

Many times home is a person rather than a place or it is a feeling of comfort in peace in a specific location

I enoyed reading.
The last line did make me ask a questtion though . . . how do we find our way back home? I mean, what tools do you think are required for one to find his way back?

Thanks for sharing :)

Very true, you said it exactly what sir Henry Ford once said... Your vocabulary was really good and hits home with the message... Excellent job...

The struggle within is very apparent from reading this. Such a twisted tale, that is for one to truly find oneself in a world that constantly tells you what to be.

Beautiful poetry!

"Cradle your transference
it has allowed you to glow
and burn just as brightly as everything
in your galaxy"
