My No Matter

Just a bit of dabbling in poetry. Nothing serious or anything

YOU ARE MY "NO MATTER"

No matter how many people talk about you

My love for you will remain true

No matter who/what stands in the way

I'll be there with you at the end of the day

No matter who may try to tear us apart

You'll always have a space in my heart

No matter what happens to our love

I truly believe in Heaven above

I will never stop loving you

You're my one true

You're the reason I wake

The melodies we make

Whatever it will take

Because you are my "No Matter"

Love this poem it doesn't matter where the person comes from as it all depends on how the person is now today with you and no one else matters. This was great and a very nice read, this second try was amazing

Superbly stated, the reason doesn't matter, it is the person that does. The no matter repeating here really works and acts as a natural pause in the piece. This is really good Aphiwe.
