Witness once again

The misery of devastation

Wrought by forces and processes

Controlling the phenomena

Of this physical world

 

Destitute despondency reigns

Within the hearts of many

Faced with uncontrollable events

And physical competence

To trounce adversity

 

Nevertheless, in our darkest hours

Historically can be found

Deep within subliminal psyche

Humanities survival characteristics

Guided by an unseen hand

 

Discarding our differences

Together with concerted cooperation

We can control and conquer

All challenging disasters

With faith, hope and unconditional love
