Unpardonable Politicians

Unpardonable Politicians

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee

That Christmas party....hmmm!

Unpardonable Politicians

Where shamelessness rules

And justice is offended

Trust is forfeited

Truth has been sacrificed on an altar of compromise
Objective truth is the casualty!
The challenges facing the citizens are not recreational yet they joke about it.
Fiscal prudence has been trampled on and thrown out the window.
Why is this???…because politicians have put re-election ahead of country.

Thank you Phil!
I couldn’t stop typing.

Actors make a living playing make believe and convincing others that their fabrications and performances are reality. Politicians are actors of the first order. Great stuff.

Oh, so very true! I love how you put such a profound truth in so few words. That takes considerable talent. Here's on of my favorites for you: "Facts don't care about your feelings." I see Santa has overindulged again...
