"The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own -- for the children, and the children yet unborn." - Rod Sterling

I love that quote from Rod Sterling. I met him when I was flying alone when I was 12 years old on a plane flying into Pittsburgh. He was very encouraging and said that I had a good imagination. We talked about clouds looking like creatures on the wings. He was thin, small framed and had a big smile. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Phillip, I totally missed your Haikus. Also this one, how right: it is so important to keep the practical judgment, and how difficult it is, we see daily. Our society is full of hate and prejudice. This was an important writing. loved it.
How true - and those that act that way don't have any to begin with or aren't taught it from the beginning. In so few you words you have captured a great deal. Thank you.

I absolutely love this. So much power in so few words. Bravo!
This is so carefully put together - yet so raw. One of my favorite pieces for sure.
And to the quote by Rod Sterling. Very powerful! I absultely agree. There is a company that makes awesome shirts with quotes on them and they are environ friendly and speak so much truth and show so much power . take a look at www.unlearn.com (im not trying to sell anything - just find it relevant)
I am caught in a time spiral of confusion; that period we all experience between birth and death.
