I quit TV two years ago to avoid the run-up to our most contentious election in history for the reason you illustrate in splendid shades of "WAAAH!" But now we've dumped the hate-mongering Trump and we're still mired in our clamorous grievance culture as deadly shootings & viruses rage on . . . WOW! I feel like spitting when I see the politicians acting as they are and ignoring what we need.
My mom used to scare me when she would say, "I'm so mad I could spit"---
I would say "you won't really do that will you?"
