A Storm before the Calm

A Storm before the Calm

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee

A Storm before the Calm

Lacrimations fall

From tainted skies

Unfathomable droplets

In deadly deluges

Aphotic reservoirs

Testing personal resilience

Irrational happenstances

Of repetitive lashings

Encapsulates lives

Within this storm

Challenging times

Deserves full awareness

Sharing knowledge

With true transparency

Choosing progress

Over blaming others

Kindred kindness

Heals every infirmity

Holding hands

Will bring calm

we are in the midst of change...and even with the flaws, it feels so good to finally
have some peace...
Life needs to calm down for awhile.
the frenzy of rant poems, at least for me, gets tiring.
This poem is so good, Phill...starts with the chaos, ends with us floating in the calm.
