Guilty as charged! A victim of this era, maybe. For what it's worth, I delete 99% of them. Brilliant brevity and images here. I do wonder... what was the "selfie" of the 1950s? Haven't we all had some means of indulgence, self-gratification and egotism. Good one, sir.

In the 1600s it was the self portrait - thanks for the kind review my friend … :-)
Oh how we like to look at ourselves . . . may be because we quickly forget what we look like, or imagine ourselves to be different from what we are. And they said the 70"s were the "me" decade??!!!
There are two kinds of people. Some look toward themselves & others look outside themselves. It amazes me how many people post nothing but selfies on social media. I once texted with a good looking guy for a year & almost every day he sent me a new selfie, in some cases saying: "here's your fix!" That's taking ego to the limit & so does your concise msg! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
oh yes, exactly....i don't even own a cell phone...never will...but i would not be interested in taking those...i don't photograph well anyway..

I am caught in a time spiral of confusion; that period we all experience between birth and death.
