That makes all the difference, Phill! A smile, a word, a touch... and everything seems right again. Love your theme here. The picture and contained words are great. Lovely, concise and eloquent style with deft alliteration and cadence. Well-penned, my friend.

Thank you Annette - love to 'spread' a smile or two :-) :-)
To me, this is one of the great wonders of my life. I'm not the kind of person who has many supportive friends around me (a loner), but when I most need one, the perfect friend reaches out. It's the perfect balance between enjoying my solitude & still having meaningful connections. I enjoy seeing how you like to carefully consider your word choices (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

If we could remember that truth each day how much richer life would be.
It takes no time at all to give a hug or simply just hold someone's hand, and share a word of cheer.

How right you are Cherrie - thank you for your kind review. :-)
To share pleasure and sillies galore is glorious, BUT, to share sadness is divine intervention from one Earthling to another, sez EJG
What a very true lesson your words are, Phill and how gently laid. Why have people in life if one can't be bothered to watch for sad or wretched day.to.day signs. Awareness matters, whatever, whenever. When people need, truly need, is the time to forget self and get to it, be a real life human being.

Indeed, a kind word at the right time can make a world of difference. On the other hand, nothing is guaranteed, so we may have to say it ourselves.

This doesn't happen enough. Sadly.
It's no secret I open and close my account here way too often.
People must think I'm nuts.
Anxiety and depression can close in quickly and frequently and sometimes the difference between sinking and floating is a word. A kind word keeps me floating, a harsh word can sink me. I'm a bit tougher than I used to be but it's still a struggle sometimes. As it is for many. Thank you for writing this.
