Within a Ball of Words

Within a Ball of Words

Within a Ball of Words

Glutinous lies wrap ‘round

Like strips of papier-mâché

Concealing a solitary seed

Deep within a ball of words

Designed to craft confusion

Such are untruths in politics

With believable oral chimera

Promoting spurious agendas

Loose tongues leak falsities

Averting prospect of unveiling

That which hides at the core

Of the sphere’s secret center

When virtues of creditability

Are oft-times just contortions

And counterfeit impressions

Apt disguises for private gain

Slicing a blackened orb in two

With righteous text retaliation

Can release core singularity

That the truth can set us free

Seems you’ve perfectly captured the pitiful nature of 24-hour news and social media, and those who use it to shape their messages. And, we absorb it, the little seeds that become big lies. Nicely done!

damn this is pertinent to the political climate of today..in its immediacy, we have no chance of being free unless there are some major changes in not only rhetoric, but deed as well.
