Times like ThisA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeMore reflections ...Times like This Watched a big burnt orange setting sun Kiss goodnight froth crested sea waves As it slowly descended at a snail's pace Behind distant darkening horizon’s edge With humbleness as my only companion I felt wrapped in angelic awesome peace Witnessing another myriad natural event Ostensibly displayed for this solitary soul Algae stained driftwood on the shoreline Adeptly honed smooth from tidal tossing Lay abandoned like sculptured art forms Appreciated silently by this lone traveler Inhaling the impetus of oceanic fragrances A salty scented zephyr tickles the tongue Stimulating a pleasant inner rejuvenation To a hungry heart and stripped-down soul When trite tribulations of this aging world Appear nigh impossible in comprehension Its times like this I quietly contemplate upon To supplant nightmares with idyllic dreams Copyright @ Phillozofee 2019 © 2019 Phill Oz O'feeReviews
