The Dying Art of CourtesyA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeJust thinking out loud...The Dying Art of Courtesy Just how many times Have you had an entry Slammed into your face... Or some idiot interfere Whilst chatting to friends Invade your private space... And stranger grabs the deal You spotted on the shelf As you were reaching out... Metaphorically speaking It felt almost like a slap From a slimy big wet trout... Rushing mums with mobiles Bump you during shopping Without concern or grace... No apologies forthcoming Appears nigh extinct today And rudeness commonplace... Road rage epidemic looms A manic bumper car affair Making travel a dire eternity... Time to revise politeness And resurrect once more The dying art of courtesy... Copyright @ Phillozofee 2019 © 2019 Phill Oz O'feeFeatured Review
