SilenceA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeSssssshhhh...Silence From my sanctuary of peace I silently watch and listen To the people passing by
My silence shows courage For I do not anger quickly Seeking compromise instead
Inner silence can be painful When concealing hidden hurt Especially inflicted by others
Inadvertent embarrassment As judgemental eyes obverse Brings silent terror to the soul
And silence can heal hearts When tenderly holding hands Is more beneficial than words
Silence can show great love For gazing into a lover’s eyes Expresses all one needs to see Copyright @ Phillozofee 2019 © 2019 Phill Oz O'feeReviews
