Faithful Friend

When clouds hide the sun

And you cannot feel its warmth

Be assured I’m here

Wonderful posted image Phill. Man's best friend. Give me a dog and I'll have unconditional love. I looked after my grandson's blue staffie for six months. When she had to leave it broke my heart and when she returns for visits she is overjoyed to see me.

It is no wonder that dogs are considered man's best friend.

Ahhh this made me weep a little.....how I miss my own.....they love you better than a man can, or so has been my experience. I'd much rather become a crazy doggie lady of sorts..

Holly, our beloved Collie/Spaniel cross, turned two last December. I'm quite sure she likes me as I feed her well. :)) But the bond between her and my son Charlie is something so very special. Can't imagine now life without her.

Such a lovely photograph

Beccy.

Not sure if this is about a dog..
Could be about God in heaven
lending light
in time of darkness..

I am a cat person.. but love the image
and YOUR words !!

Jazzy......♥

The great scientist Konrad Lorenz once said "The bond with a dog is as lasting as any on this earth can be." Thats why I have mine. And that is why I love this poem.

Well, ill take your word for it. :)
I feel those words two tails, four eyes and eight paws' worth. With them, the sun always shines even on freezing cold days. Sighh..
