Thoughts

A stream of aim-free inspiration

Circulates coalition imagination

To oriented veracity conclusions

Even though existential thoughts

Fluctuate in their activity values

They are vague in understanding

The brain cells synapse junctions

Pass impulse minuscule impressions

Across neurotransmitter dark gaps

And the prefrontal cortex persists

In spinning uncontrollable notions

Whether we wanted them or not

Creation challenges are motivated

To choose a moral way of existence

Or succumb into shackling shadows

Is profound thinking a spiritual gift

Or subconscious punishing profanity

At times greatness leads to insanity

a curse a curse and a curse it is the over thinking..... and to get rid of it is a such a trouble some task..

wish sometimes there was some switch to shut it down...when the over ride happens.... then reboot :P

i think maybe "profound" means deep and "over" means out of proportion when it comes to the mind Phil.
A bit like the narrow line between normal and insane.
I must admit i sometimes kick myself for overthinking it can be a dangerous road to go down.

i just wonder how moral we poets are...maybe we are an immoral lot and that is way our inspiration is so finicky ...and that is what leads to the profanity that often doesn't reach the page.
