The School Bus

The School Bus

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

For the W/C corroboration ...

"

The School Bus

She is one of four million

Holding back their tears

When the others catch the bus

A parentless child refugee

And a victim of a conflict crisis

That Is destroying her normality

Arti prayers are very simple

For she longs only one gift

To be allowed an education

Not for self-ascription

But to one day help to foster

A new peace in her native land

This is sadly so true Phill, In America and UK. We take it for granted education in general. But in these war-torn countries afar. It's not that easy. A really heartfelt, raw, no truer words are spoken or stated. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

It is not easy to write something like this, but you did it very well. This poem is incredibly raw and comes from the heart.

Bless you Amanda - a big thank you for reviewing my work - :-)
Compassionate write. Children in the USA and the UK do not always appreciate the education they are given freely. In a country torn apart by war, education takes a back seat and the children have very different lives than ours do. Beautifully written....empathetic. Lydi**

You can't argue with that.
Refugees absorb education.
Sadly in western countries, we take it for granted.

True words my friend - thanks for reading :-)
You've sent the great message out there, educations and playing ARE most important in a child's life, they learn through them, not to mention that with education You stand against many of the society's diseases that are spreading and eating it.
