It's amazing how you manage to condense the entire last week of USA news with so few syllables *wink! wink!* Just before these 14 bombs were mailed out, I told a friend that people are going to get hurt as the rhetoric gets more & more inflammatory & fake. I've never been more disgusted in my life & your poem expresses this perfectly (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

How insightful you are! I loved this. Your haiku is an excellent example of what is presently occurring (and has been for some time) on a global scale.

ohhhhhhh that's what the pic is!!! i couldn't figure out what it was until i read your poem ... your very deliberate assonance works extremely well says i! especially that first line .. as a senryu it couldn't get much better ... well done ... powerful ... sharp commentary ... a terrible terror indeed

Yes - it is a scary time - thank you for your poignant comments … :-)
That's how it starts, words which grow more and more hateful, words which radicalise and turn some into terrorists. Well expressed and you've managed alliteration as well Phil.

Thanks Christine - just my view of the world today - :-)
I love this one, man! It made me think, and I saw a cartoon in my mind: Trump as the RCA Victor speaker...his big mouth formed into the old fashioned TRUMPet speaker horn, and the dog, normal dog body, bomber's head, gazing up at the speaker, with the legend:HIS MASTER'S VOICE. Can
anybody draw that?
