Manipulative Misinformation

Manipulative Misinformation

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee

Manipulative Misinformation

Off the tongue

Roll soundless words

Throbbing through

Umbilical attached earplugs

Platitudes pulse

In sameness stutters

Sublimely saturating

Abilities to discern

Hear the hammering

Of bouncing heads

Off oxidized iron posts

Staggered into blindly

With lemming effect

Deadly precise accuracy

Over the edge they fall

Into vats of bubbling mire

Manipulative misinformation

Fluently fooling populace

Leads away from facts

And undermines realities

No one seems to care

Accept a stalwart few

Whose individuality

Is not tainted by misdirection

But here lurks consequence

For revolutionary idioms

Challenge propagandists

Undermining their control

Righteous resolute rebels

Cannot be readily silenced

For at the end of all things

The truth will set us free

A great poem Phill, with meaning to it. The media gives us all a large dose
of cognitive dissonance each day. I saw a quote once that read, it is far easier to fool
someone, than it is to convince them they are being fooled. Phill.

"Manipulative misinformation
