Allusive illusionA Poem by Phill Oz O'feeDream lover …...Allusive illusion Checked my dream catcher today And found it empty once again And the reverie of love’s possibility Had not been caught up in its mesh
Although grateful nightmare visions Have been sieved out of my mind It would have been nice to discover Amour prospects lay within its net
Sweet imagines have been allusive And just illusions it would appear But I maintain an optimistic outlook Those expectations will be revealed
Perhaps unconscious psyche filters Have been positioned far too high Though seeking a beloved partner Is a charge not impossible to wish
So resetting this spider web charm I lay me once more down to sleep In expectation that in the morning I discover you hiding in my dreams
