Maybe add... bit of flavour ...make it more chewable....... the speed at which we eat we won't even notice... :)

Soon we will have pills instead of food so I think end of the day our food will be replaces by the scientist ... how terrible would that be...
You pay extra to add. Flvr. To your pills... and extra for sensory effects... :p

I did a similar poem to this called hidden, it had the chemical formula
for the plastic. your poem gave an image and key words that people can
identify and associate with articles in the news. So the question is
what else is it in?.

I like how you talk about the endocrine system. Lots of things, plastic, lack of sleep, WiFi, 5G and stress will be disrupt us. Mine went haywire long ago. Already a hypothyroid case myself.

Your picture looks like a scary alien life-form! Sci-fi now becomes reality- not in a good way. Your brilliant senryu is on-point and so relevant, Phill. Chromosome-changers displace our food, displace our humanity. Beware- “Ingress” of toxins causes Regress of life.

Deeply thought-provoking and dramatic and so true. The photo works perfectly with your poem.

Bloomin heck. Plastic food, that was something I played with as a kid. It's in the food chain now? Whatever next. Scary stuff.
