Subconscious Slumber

Subconscious Slumber

A Poem by Phill Oz O'fee
"

What goes on in our sleeping brain?

"

Subconscious Slumber

Stumbling blindly

Through outlandish dreams

Images illuminate

In brilliant flashing frames

Like metaphors

Incomprehensible and distorted

Conceivably hidden

Within these bursting visions

May possibly

Rest covert subliminal messages

Subconscious warnings

Or perchance good premonitions

Pages poignant

Of lusciously penned poetry

Signified inspiration

And sweet idealistic notions

Swirling about

My subconscious slumber

Skywriting thoughts

Express subtle sacred significance

Connecting self

On this physical earthly sphere

Attracts merger

Of probability in a spiritual realm

Cornerstone shadows

Hold clandestine veiled messages

Secretly engraved

Concealing heart’s desire passions

Translation safe

As only my psyche can comprehend

Before awakening

From my introspective apparitions

Sprang approbation

Of an unidentifiable female figure

Alas however

Now cognisant she had vanished

Sjoee- so deep so real so true- like always in the depth of the deep slumber where we wander and visit places only the spirit can see- in awakening it’s gone but never far away- just to awaken our truths within for the journey without- that feeling of travelling far and wide - feeling exhausted in waking- secret messages lying deep - hopefully all to be revealed one day- wonderful words 🌹

' .. covert subliminal messages ~ Subconscious warnings ~ Or perchance good premonitions.. ' So very true, especially come the equinox!

Amazing how - when or after reading language like yours - , people find their inner selves and learn by default You lure with phrases, peeling back what is generally hidden.. primarily from Self. '.. sweet idealistic notions ~ Swirling about ~ My subconscious slumber .. '

the muse or the girl..."if i should die before i wake, i pray the Lord my Pen to take"

and often we write classic poetry in our sleep...only to wake up to a few disjointed phrases, and some bad eggs and toast.
